about us

Legacy Trucking was originally founded as a small family owned company in 1968 as Domer Trucking. It opened its doors as a new contract carrier offering “on time” motor carrier services for the United States Postal Service.

When the Domer’s decided to retire in 1994 their children elected to carry on the Legacy. They acquired the company from their parents and changed the name to Legacy Trucking. To this day, Legacy Trucking has grown to over 40 trucks and is still operating some of the same contracts with the USPS that their parents began with in 1968.

Our “Commitment to Excellence” has earned us several Eagle Spirit Awards from the United States Postal Service. This has paved the way for continued growth and expansion of our services with many satisfied customers. We have maintained and expanded our basic philosophy striving to be flexible to our valued customer’s specific needs. We will continue to position Legacy Trucking for the robust market conditions that exist in our industry today.

All Legacy trucks are equipped with real time on-board tracking for instant location of our trucks, but more importantly, our customers’ cargo. Our professional driver’s, have been able to carve out a specific niche operation offering dependable and extraordinarily time sensitive truckload services for the United States Postal Service.

We are humbled by the confidence our customers have shown in Legacy Trucking over the years and are indeed grateful for the opportunity to serve and grow with them. As we continue to provide them with high quality motor carrier services. We’re proud of the important role and contribution that the men and women as professional drivers of Legacy Trucking continue to provide America’s economic pipeline filled with necessities and consumer goods.
